No more 0.25% on sbi debit card for credit card bill payments, wallet transactions & insurance
Though the changes were implemented last year but many people still don’t know about it. Myself also found out about it a few days ago from a friend so posting a thread about it.
Please note:
Mutual fund transactions will not be considered for the rewards program from 15’th July 2019 onwards.
Insurance, Government, Education, Railways, Agriculture transactions will not be considered for the rewards program from September 2020 onwards.
Credit card bill payments, Wallet transfer transactions will not be considered for rewards from 1 October 2020.

Not getting points on credit card bill payments & wallet balance add transactions done around 15th apr. Maybe they implemented from 1st apr(start of financial year).
Are the transactions appearing as paytm or One97comm in statement/debit card transaction sms?
I have also got points for my SBI Rupay debit card for credit card bill payments through paytm for both April month and May 1st transactions. Merchant appears are Others Paytm Noida in the history.

Update: Till now I haven’t received any points for credit card bill payment or paytm wallet money add transactions done in April though I did got points for other transactions done even on the last day of april. Debit card used was jcb rupay platinum.
Is anyone getting higher reward points by SBI? I think they have put capping per transaction as well as per month.

Was getting points for using anywhere , any wallet be it mobikwik or paytm min TRX 200 on my classic card, now card blocked by bank marking suspicious transaction.
I think only mentioned in T&C
Because after October I made txn on Paytm Mobikwik as well as institute fee and got CB on all txn (from previous 2-3 month not using SBI card except 1-2 txn )
I checked history on 24 march 2021 added 2400 and got 24 points ( money added to Paytm wallet)
