They should give NOC by default post closure of card. If not always ask for NOC just in case.

Do we need to ask for NOC after closing Credit Card or apps like Slice, UniPay which provide credit limit.
It it necessary to take NOC to avoid any future issues.

i have closed one ICICI card and also UniCard but they didn’t gave me NOC

NOC not required for credit card.
As long as you have paid all dues and it is reflected properly in reports you are fine.
For secured Loans it may be required eg. Car/Bikes removing hypothecation etc.

For credit card a written email response from customer care that you have no due and we are closing your card is enough. archive it.

If it shows closed on cibil then no worries but if it doesn’t then an noc is must needed
