Not able to decide on this 3D tv, help needed

I have LG 3D TV model LM6690 bought for around 78k in 2013.

It has developed horizontal lines a few months back and repair from LG may cost around 20to25K , if I am lucky to get the spares ( as per LG technician).

It's nice TV and exchange with new TV might fetch around 3to4k. The horizontal lines appear after 30 to 40 mins of watch.

I am not able to decide whether to exchange it as there are no 3D tvs now with passive 3d glasses. We occasionally enjoy 3d content may be 2 to 3 times in a year.

Should I wait until it dies and buy another one? Any place in india where I can buy such 3d panels for cheap. Not sure , if 3D is in the panel or hardware or some software.

Pls pour in your thoughts with above points in mind like cost, 3d TV etc.

Sell it ASAP and get a MI/ VU TV with better specs. Had this same TV, got an exchange value of 12K on Flipkart during a sale and gave it to them.
