Not receiving OTP from Banks

Hi,
I have a strange issue from last week. Im not receiving OTP's from yesbank, RBL and Amex bank ( All are creditcards). However im receiving all other messages from the bank. ( Like money debit, money credit etc)
The operator is Airtel and i tried to test it by changing my banking mobile number to another Airtel number and i got the OTP. Even Airtel is unaware whats happening. I tested by replacing my sims to other mobiles but all went in vain.
I have raised a complaint but it looks like a strange issue. Please advise if im missing any troubleshooting steps.

So what needs to be done to get this resolved? These are bank OTP’s and nothing else

I tried all possible channels (Vodafone, Airtel, DD Admins etc.) to find the SMS Gateway provider details so that I can contact them directly, but no one is providing that info. I am using my secondary number for certain OTP requirements (like yourfirst). Amex sends OTP to email also, managing with that.

Yeah but yesbankrewardz don’t send sms to email so unable to redeem now issue seems specific to amex and yes bank rewards.im able to get other OTP

i have faced same problem in airtel no after too many complaint tried evrything and failed to otp comes then MNP to bsnl and otp comes within seconds

That’s a different problem. I moved from Vodafone to Airtel and the problem persists. In fact, when I was using Vodafone, I had spoken to an engineer from their network operations team who listed out each SMS that had entered their system and delivered to me. They were 100% sure that the SMS that I am talking about had not entered their system. But they were not able to tell me the source of Amex OTP and others.

Exactly my problem is with certain sites and that means it might be sender gateway problem….

I suspect it is a DND issue..
try deactivating it (if you have activated it) and wait for 7 days and check..

Its definitely not a DND issue as im able to receive SMS in another mobile number, same operator which is activated with Full DND. I suppose there is something which i could not reiterate.
DND was activated way back and im facing issues only for a week back.

As far as I know, For Amex card otp doesn’t come if you are doing transaction on international platforms.

I just want to reiterate that im receiving OTP’s to email ID but not to mobile number. Whichever site is asking for OTP ( Both local and international) OTP’s are getting delivered to email but not to mobile.

on same boat from last 12-13 years….voda number ported to jio but still problem persists…….it has something to do with gateway used and specific to few mobile series…

Now i started receiving OTP’s from some banks, However Aadhar OTP’s and Amex OTP’s are having issues.
I feel like an issue intermittently. What could be the reason. Any idea guys? I have a secondary number in the same mobile with the same operator but im receiving OTP’s without any issues.
