Yes, saw it in my gpay app.. but I dont have axis or sbi cc so could not make use of it..
Will it work for upi qr or will need bharat qr

I don’t remember why, but I read through all terms and conditions and chose not to add my Axis CC, even though there was some pretty good cashback, something in the terms was a red flag for me,will post again if I read through it.

Google now moves from just being a Unified Payments Interface (UPI)-based payment application to a full-fledged digital payments platform. Until now, Google Pay users only had the option of using their UPI handles related to a bank account for payments. Now, a customer will just save his or her card onto Google Pay; while making a payment, the customer will have the option of paying through the card as well as through UPI.
So does it mean i can pay to local shopkeepers through gpay using my credit card?

Can we get Bharat QR for our own (individuals)
Don’t get merchant acc QR code for your own personal use unless you want to get an IT dept notice(some here have received it for as low as 12k total payment in merchant acc).
@andromeda & @ddstar there are 2 places, I might find more, but I just rushed through the terms, so pardon any mistakes, this is what I could find again, but we need to read it clearly again.
1) Google can store your card info and personal info for extended periods of time (even if you remove the card is how I interpret it)
2) Google will share your information with “Developers” when making payment, Activity, IP, Email, Address, and all that information and more will be shared with them.. The issue is that we don’t provide address to Google, but we do have to provide it for the Credit Card :S

until now i added money in paytm wallet using credit card and paid to some small sellers,who has paytm
but this wholesale kirana store guy is saying,he has only google pay,so when i scan that qr code,transaction fails,so i thought i need paytm upi(i don’t have) for google pay
that’s why asking
please tell me step by step,if we can pay using scan and pay option with paytm wallet
or after scanning, can we pay with credit card directly(i don’t know about this,but after reading this thread,just asking)
You are right.
You can only pay from wallet (added by cc) to paytm merchants (those with paytm qr) and for others/ bhim UPI merchants, payment by UPI is mandatory. You can not pay from wallet to a UPI merchant QR.
