How many Saving Reward Points can I get if I transact using my IndusInd Bank Platinum Aura Edge Credit Card? Will it be 0.5 per Rs. 100 or 1.4 per Rs. 100?
Is NPS payment considered as insurance premium payment?

As per their home plan they give 1.4 reward points on every Rs. 100 spent. It used to be 1.5 till July 31st though.

a different question for the users specific to this card (Platinum Aura Edge credit card):

they advertise that they have complementary lounge access, but its a bit different.
I’m confused as somewhere it mentions complementary lounge access, but some places it’s written free pass, but 27$ each visit.

can anyone who has used this benefit actually explain me as to what amount they had to pay and which type lounge did they went to?

I have never used my IndusInd credit card to access lounge. So, can’t answer it.

They provide maximum of 8 lounge visits per year as complimentary entry, above which they charge, even this 8 entry may be charged in first place then reversed in statement. but have it with a pinch of salt, nothing is a constant with indusind

with this card Priority Pass is given and lounge access is FREE via that

do note there is count restriction as to how many times you can avail it for free
That 27$ is usual charge otherwise

For reference HDFC doesn’t allow domestic lounge access via Priority Pass (PP) and charge 27$ if used domestically. One can access directly via HDFC card for domestic use. For international use they allow via PP.

You go to lounge and hand over your card. They will let you know if your card will give you free access or not. Other way to check is to call IndusInd bank customer care and take their confirmation.

Can anyone please confirm would it be beneficial to pay them 250+18% GST and convert my plan from Shop to Home?

How many points will they credit for NPS txn then? Their customer support is useless.

Any kind soul who already got Home plan activated on this card can check this pls?

Got this card yesterday. Customer service said only priority pass membership is free. We have to pay 27$ for each visits. But while applying it mentioned me and my partner will get free visits worth $199, but customer service denied that.

The priority pass itself costs 99$ just for the card so thats why they might have mentioned as you can get PP for you and for addon card which comes out to 198$. but the access to lounge using the PP costs 27$+GST so it is not a practical way to access.

This is wrong of them to provide incomplete info to sell cards.
Btw you can check with CC about domestic lounge access which is offered by Visa/Mastercard and can be availed by showing your CC only . This might be available on your card. I don’t have IndusInd card so cannot confirm this.

On contrast, HDFC Regalia first which is an average card provides free PP + 3 international lounge access free for Primary and add-on cardholder combined. After 3 free access it will be charged as 27$+GST.
Then there are better cards which provide more no of access.

For international usage, try to look into HDFC cards. Regalia first or diners clubmiles should be fairly easy to get and can be made lifetime free on adding smartpay.

Already using diners club miles, it is valid for only card holder.

I have hdfc regalia first. If I apply for add on card for my wife, both of us can access free longue access in India (using my card & her add on card) & Internationally (using pp)?

Do I need to apply pp for add on card separately? I read somewhere that pp has validity of some 3 years. What after that? How to get pp in hdfc card? Any other points to taken care while applying/using it?

Sorry asking too many questions but I m totally new for all these things.

No use, they just provide the free PP membership without any free topup for access. You have to pay per visit. Same thing also provided by Yes Bank Prosperity Edge card.

oh i see, in this case only option is to go for Regalia first/regalia which provides joint allowance of PP for primary and add on cardholder.

or try to see if you can upgrade you clubmiles to Diners Privilege.

Apart from HDFC , Yes bank offers PP but it is only for Primary cardholder.

yes you have to first apply for add on credit card for your wife.
once you get add on card, do at least one transaction and let one statement cycle complete.
then call CC to ask for PP for the add on card.

from what i have seen, the addon card and primary card have same Card no, so domestic lounge access might not work because it would be like swiping same card twice.
but it is easy to get domestic lounge access as many debit card also provide it such as HDFC platinum or Millenia debit card etc.
so you can get one for your wife by opening an account.
you also get domestic lounge access on Platinum mastercard debit cards, so if she has an account she can ask for Platinum mastercard from the bank.

for International lounge access , primary and Add on PP can be used . There is some doubt on this as older add on PP used to have same no as primary PP , in this case you cannot use both primary and addon PP at same lounge . But can be used at different lounges at same airport.

If the PP numbers are different then there is no issue. recently some people have reported that even when the numbers were same , they swiped at same lounge and were not charged anything.
