Not possible to withdraw 10 rupee note.
If the govt. is doing it. They should stop taking whatever weed they are taking.
Practically every individual has 10 rupee note in old currency. Some retailers keep 1-2 bundles for change

you should stop taking #pappu wed
RBI from time to time have withdrawn banknotes from circulation by asking bank not to reissue such currency back in circulation ones it reaches the bank
Which implies that when a customer deposit any old series banknote
bank have to send this to RBI
Bank will not give any such notes to the customer on withdrawal
this process may take over 1 year and gradually the old banknotes will be out of circulation
and you may find such notes very rarely (their legal status remain)
for exp. when the MKG series of Banknotes were issued the old series notes with Ashok embalm gradually faced out

Are beta, old 10 rupee series (I mean before the current old is also in circulation though in very less quality and legal tender)

If govt want to remove the notes. They can direct the banks to not again give the old series note to public.

Gradually it will be removed from system.

Having force majeure can cause DEATHS. I mean DEATHS.

For you kind information. Even I want to get old series completely remove. Having different dimensions for same note is causing problems.

But having a deadline and asking public to submit 10 rupee not is not possible.
