Sony uses OLED panels from LG. I have 2 LG OLEDs and believe me you cannot go wrong with it.

The picture quality is superb.

I personally like the webOS and magic remote.

Never faced burn issues. I have been using it for more than 3 years now.

Just need to take a few precautions with all OLEDs.

And LG offers free extended warranties from time to time.

close your eyes and buy sony..the way sony knows about display none other will , ... and that logic of "all thing made in china" "apple uses samsung display so buy samsung instead of apple as bla bla bla" is flawed one , .. quality control is a thing indians have still to know of

won't suggest sony as they have issues just after warranty expire, Go with Samsung/LG only IMO.

LG and Sony if you are going for OLEDs.

Diwali time is the best time to get a great deal.
I got a 65 LG G2 for 1.6L last diwali.. was between that and the Sony A80K.. Sony didn't go on sale as much.. was a bit over 2L.

Sony uses panels made from LG .. but Sony's processing is superior.. LG has improved a lot and its very close now, but at the same price, I wouldve taken the A80K..

Sony's interface is also miles better than the LG Webos.. webos is very cluttered , has a lot of ads (suggested stuff) and is a mess.. the remote also looks very dated.. but that shouldnt be a deciding factor.. you can always add a streaming device and use that later. I added an Apple TV 4K and use that.

If I had the sony, I think I would be using the Android TV that comes built in..

I think Samsung doesn't have OLED TV's. Go for LG or Sony.

Burn in is overhyped.

Go with Sony OLED if you want better audio and better apps support.

Go with LG OLED if you want bit cheaper with slightly better display.

Sony’s Oled is manufactured by LG. LG gives Oled panel to Sony.

I am aware of that. But panel is one part, picture processing, HDR etc are dependent on other hardware and softwares used which are different by Sony.

That's why in end product there is difference.

@arpit2401590 i used A80J 65 inch for a month then I sold it because of the semi gloss screen and low brightness (paid 1.88) Then bought a C1. Sony entry level oled screen is like matte screen guard on an expensive phone.

If you are going for Oled go for Lg due to its brightness and glossy screen. Once you watch your eyes gets adjusted to it and you won’t get to know unless you have an another tv for side comparison.

Another option that I suggest is 75 inch sony x80k which you can get for around 1.3-1.4lac. I have this in my living room. 75 inch is a complete different experience and Sony processor is fantastic.

Agree with brightness part seen some TV's in reliance digital physically and felt it. Can't go for 75 inch space constraint (living in Mumbai you know)

Getting a good deal on Sony A80k from reliance. They are closing at 1.30 lac with some employee discount and all.

Thought of A80k because of Bravia core. But don't know what will be the future of it.

Now I will also think about LG. Will visit the store once again to explore.

1.3 is for 65 inch A80K ?

Don’t buy, brightness is lower than A80J.

Bravia Core is useless. When I bought A80J it had Bravia Core and post the launch of A80K they removed Bravia core from A80J. Very unethical behaviour from Sony. I sent emails to Sony but no use.

A80J and A80K is basically the same tv with different speakers and A80K with low brightness
