I have recently received an email & notification on the one

card app to shift to a new card due to your recent change in banking

partners.Please address my main concerns
1)

What do you and your team at one card mean that there will not be any

substantial change to my credit score in such a transition ?? Have you

forgotten about the concept of credit age and credit mix involved in the

growth or degrad of credit score ? Moreso what is the guarantee that

onecard wont be switching banking partners as per their convenience

later on ? Why not give the option to the customers with respect to the

switch for eg from your site I see that you also have Bank of Baroda as a

listed partner ?
2) Why am I asked to go for

KYC again, One Card already has my records, And more,so SInce it is only

a backend change why cant the FPL Technologies ensure that credit

scores of the customers are not affected in conjunction with CIBIL or

getting the credit bureaus onboard in the process,so that customers are

least affected ???
3) Is it compulsory to switch ? What if I am happy with IDFC bank as the issuing card bank ?

4) Why is the credit limit not increased for the cards so that even if a

customer is forced to shift and take a hit on ones credit score, The

credit utilization blow received by the customer in such shifting

process, can be managed by the bank by rewarding the customer with

higher limits
5) Why has one card CS shifted to

a premium paid number wherein not all the telecom customers cannot

contact the helpline without due intimation to the customer ? By when

can one expect a toll free number to be functioning ?

Please address my concerns at the earliest. I am merely exercising my rights as a consumer

Bro as per my knowledge
I will share response to you

1. Credit score wont change substantially. If your score drops by few points, it will recover in max 2 months time

2. Kyc is rbi process & banks dont share data so change of banking partner means re kyc

3. Idfc will stop working so they are changing

4. Dont worry too much about credit score, no blow will happen. Just trust the process

You can simply stop using their services if you have this much problem and confusion. They are also giving this option.

YES, They do provide that option, the rules and regulations set by the RBI are a thing too, I have simply shared my opinion and the complaint placed by me to FPL TECH and consumerism is an option too, one cannot simply give in to the terms and conditions being changed arbitrarily by the service provider without exercising rights set upon us as a consumer.

Thanks for your response buddy.
The thing that bugs me the most is the shift to premium service numbers makes reaching them tougher due to the telecom service provider regulations.
There should have been an option of landline number to be called on or region-specific numbers or the good old 1800s number to be dialled upon.

In my case, the blow will be tougher since once card and yes bank are the only cards issued to me till date, so if either of the credit card accounts (idfc) is closed in civil the hit is there which is further aggravated by new credit search being taken by federal bank.

I contact onecard thru twitter dm. Its free

You are right but everything will become normal in 2-3 months in cibil.

Trick to keep cibil in positive for next 3 months. Prepay your cc bill before 30th of month, so utilization will be 0%
Score will be less affected
