One card SBM Devaluation

Update in Terms & Conditions of Reward Points on SBM One Credit Card :

Dear Customer,
We wish to inform you about an upcoming update in the Terms and Conditions of Reward Points on your SBM One Credit Card, which will be effective from 6th January 2025.

Key Highlights:

5X Rewards Eligibility: To qualify for 5X rewards, please ensure you make purchases in at least three different categories, with a minimum spend of Rs. 750 per category.

Categories: You can earn reward points in categories such as Education, Bills & Utilities, and Insurance, as defined by the Merchant Category Codes (MCCs) from our network partner or as categorized by the bank.

Incremental Rewards: For the mentioned categories, if eligible for 5X rewards, incremental rewards will be offered only if the total rewards under these categories do not exceed 25,000 points.

Merchant EMI: Please note that purchases made via Merchant EMI will not be eligible for reward points.

Program Misuse: Misuse of the reward program may result in the cancellation of reward points. Any used reward points may be recovered by adding the corresponding amount to your outstanding balance. We also reserve the right to reclassify the merchant category based on the transaction use case pertaining to the merchant.
