According to the survey, the OnePlus Z will come with a 6.55″ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz screen refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 SoC with 5G support, along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone will apparently have a 4300 mAh battery and 30W fast charging support, which we guess can be through Warp Charging. On the camera end, the survey puts forth a 64MP + 16MP + 2MP triple camera setup, and we presume that the 16MP camera is likely an ultra-wide-angle camera and the 2MP camera is either a depth sensor or a macro shooter. There is also a 16MP camera on the front within the hole punch on the display
Supposed to be priced around Rs. 24,990

Now gsmarena has put up a article based on OP post and metioned Desidime.News articles are getting popped up based on this post..

I mean..when you have faster (& probably premium too?) 2019 flagships w/ SD855 selling for the same price, why would anyone prefer a downgrade? (Service + Assured Updates will still be a plus though for new launches from popular brands)
May be they can still make it work but at least one thing about the phone has to be exceptional (like a OP8/Pro camera on the alleged OPz)PS:
Galaxy A70 w/ SD 675 is already available for ~24k…so 25k pricing won’t work for OP (May be 21/22k?)
OPZ will have SD675765 ..May be 25k will be the launch price
Processor is not the only thing that makes a phone. Poco display is not so good, camera outdated, miui with crapwares and bulky design. While OnePlus don’t have Chinese crapwares and also 5G with better design camera, and display. Samsung is selling A31 having Helio P65 by 22k ,if you’re talking about processors.

The survey comes from a platform called DesiDime and it offers customer rewards programs in India to users with bank cards purchasing goods online.

// These users often receive marketing surveys and this time around, OnePlus seems to be running one of those surveys. It asks if the users are willing to buy a OnePlus handset priced at INR 24,990 (~$330) with the following specs //

Processor isn’t the only thing..but i think it is one of the most important things in a phone (alongside display & camera)..the one that creates hype (at least in India)
It is going to be hard convincing people to purchase premium phones w/ a midrange processor (Ref: BB Evolve X w/ SD 660 @ 35k & even Galaxy A70/70s @ 25-30k have a very limited user base)
Probably this is the same reason why realme only launched X50 pro 5G (w/ SD 865) for 40k & Skipped X50m 5G (Launched for ~22k in china) w/ SD 765 in India
About Poco, no idea about X2 but i have F1
While the screen is good (for an LCD panel)..never been happy with touch sensitivity (Noticed similar thing on Mi A2)
5G is just hype (Its a long road..wont go live for at ~2 years)
MIUI is shit..would prefer OxygenOS any day for few thousands extra (If they can promise 2/3 years of software updates like OP did with OP3/3T & 5/5T)
cc @waterloo
PS: If OP/Amazon drops the price of 7T to ~30k like they do every year..then 7T is a much better option than OPZ @ 25k (except the 5G part)
// Remember Amazon selling 6T for as low as 22k via Prime Now after OP7 launch //

They may be testing waters to see how many are willing to buy at 25k. Too many Yes and that may very well be the launch price. Too many No and they may launch at a lower price.
On a psychology level, they are intentionally leaking the specs and price to prepare the mindset of people. Once the 25k price settles in minds, they may actually have plans to launch at 22k/23k or even lower. This strategy will work too well because people expect 25k price but a lower launch price will seem like a huge discount and idiots will grab it like no other.
Free promotion for desidime all over internet
Now oneplus z is trending in twitter too

Lots of folks game on mobile in India. For many its their only computing device (PC penetration continues to be abysmal) unlike more developed economies. So not unreasonable to hanker after the one that provides the most horsepower. Also unlike display, camera and other components that can be hard to quantify raw performance comparisons are readily understandable. No wonder its the most marketed term.
SD768G would have been a substantial upgrade over SD765G. In single-threaded perf. at least it would have matched the SD865. Maybe it arrived too late in the device development life cycle.
@danishali2020443 Thank you so sharing such a Big leak with all of us This phone is just going to eat market with these specifications 😃
Also all YouTubers should say ‘Subscribe to Desidime’ 😬😛
@danishali2020443 That was an awesome share !!
It was super smart thinking to link the two, hope the leak turns out to be true through launch
200 dimes will be added to your account
Instead of buying a premium phone/midrange phone, buy a phone in the range of 10-12k n use it for a while, then exchange for a new one.
That’s my motto. But people have their own purpose for buying a phone. Gamers have to buy a good phone. I see 90% people, don’t even use 90% percent of the features the phone provides. In the end all they ll be doing recieving multimedia texts using Whatsapp/Telegram, some low fi photography, some instagram, some Chrome browing, maybe tweet a bit, call a bit, watch YouTube, watch music etc etc.
Investing heavily in a depreciating article is not a wise decision. That too in my stupid opinion.
And I respect people’s choice in buying. 🙂🙂

Hope that your words become true & OP7T price comes down to 30k. Last year, i was able to grab 6T at 23k. But now waiting for price decrease on 7T.
Its good that we have 5g phones in market.
But the question is, do we really need a costly 5g phone in india.
Advice: Avoid buying a 5g phone in india as 5g network will be deployed after atleast 1 year in india.
Tip: Don’t burn you 💰. If you have extra you always transfer it to me. Believe me, I’ll never disappoint you.

Atleast 2 years, given the prevailing situation. Moreover, none of the auctions have happened so far!

Its cooking up in telecom industry.
Jio is about to takeover again. Checkout acquisition by facebook and who not.
Thet are collecting money from investors. Once they are done you will see auction soon. Old strategy of Reliance.
