Mallikarjuna invested Rs 15 lakh, hoping to reap a profit of Rs 5-10 lakh. But he hit a jackpot.

Mallikarjuna is now a celebrity in the farming circles in Chitradurga, 200km from Bengaluru, after local media reported his success story. “I have cleared my debt and I am planning to build a house. I want to buy more land to expand the agricultural work in the coming years,” he said.
Lucky person who did not fall into middlemen / agents while selling onions. Other farmers should learn from him on how to avoid middlemen.

And I wonder how many Mallikarjunas there are! I bought a used gfx card from a seller called Mallikarjuna on Erodov and from then whenever I saw that name I thought it’s him probably. But I’ve since found at least half a dozen references to different Mallikarjunas.
Damn. Good for him. I quite clearly remember last season a farmer committed suicide because onions fell below 20 rupees or something.

It’s not only about onions you can reap profit from anything if you have business mind inside you. Just like other jobs farmers farm and sell. They never think how they can make big money..
