ONLINE GOLD , isn't worth it !!

approx 4% diffrence in buying and selling price + 3% gst

buying gold isn’t worth it but apps like jar etc are popular and got a good rating and other major wallets also have it , it gives negative returns or mearge profit in most cases . There are charges for delivery of physical gold , then to make any ornament or jewelry you pay extra prices.

Even when you hold for long term the returns are just in the ball park of inflation + dollar/inr changes in the said period.
There is not much net appreciation in real terms like other investments like stocks, real estate etc.
