also, if the amount is not too big, then to be on the safe side or to be mister clean

In such peak season, they will mostly respond that we cannot initiate s return pick-up on an order that is refunded.
But if they indeed do initiate the pick-up then give an address of a nearby building or a slightly wrong address or of a random building
so that when Ekart calls, you can always say that due to a sudden circumstance, you are out of station for 8-9 days.

If the amount is somewhat bigger and if your conscience permits, then
depending on whether they cancelled or you

keep asking them why it is cancelled or when is the refund going to be credited
and what is the Reference number if the refund was processed.

If at ANY point, someone even hints that the system/ tracking says that the item is delivered

then depending on whether it was OTP based delivery or not

one can again feign ignorance that what are you talking about?
Raise a complaint internally for your missing item, as I never got any delivery.
You already gave the refund also and order is cancelled. I do not have your product, lodge an investigation with your logistics partner.

You can also move on, as suggested by @babitajikeEx,, but in that
all your cards, phone numbers, accounts that Flipkart knows of.. will have a shadow of this.
If you never dispute anything, then their risk management software will see two things:
1] cargo carrier delivered or marked the item as delivered: product is out of hand.
2] money is out of hand. (even if it is in flipkart wallet as GC, the finance team, risk management software will treat it as a debit in their books).

In such scenario, the details of your cards, phone numbers, postal addresses might have an Interpol style lookout notice to closely monitor even any future accounts that show activity from those cards, bank accounts, phone numbers, addresses.
