I think you jumped the gun on voot. I don't remember it being announced for IPL. So should have just waited until all announcements happened.

I was also thinking of buying the subscription for voot because I thought they will increase its price.

I too had the Sony LIV membership ..but alas so many ads , i am back to pirating ... There are many sites where u can watch shark tank episodes , MasterChef one freely without much ads (brave browser)

Even Some IT trainees can make better app than Sony liv..

Lots of adds.. no sync in adds.. video loading after add.. you have to log in everytime on Tv app.

Nobody who has account here in DD will pay the above full amount that you mentioned.

Answer is you made either bad choices in life or at the bad time... these companies are here to make money after burning some...

These days people tend to follow the herd without thinking if they need it at all, and run after what is considered "hot" and to project oneself as "in fashion", sadly losing the capability of self regulation, or considering the rationale and need behind it.

I've been using android since v2.2 days, many people didn't have a smartphone in those days... still I keep away from social media (especially facebook which Indians have made a sex app out of it sadly), OTT, video calls and use whatsapp only for business purposes (you know the honeytrap and prostitution type things these young guys are falling to these days and also have virtual sex by choice too).

I didn't die or go mad by keeping away from those, in fact I think I'm saved from a lot of junk daily...
