No brainer they are as people are getting credit cards much easily hence most of people have those access.

Although the articles & post are old & 2 of them are from 2018 & 2019 when the times were quite different due to covid.

Many lounges in western countries have several lounges at airports, sometimes multiple at each terminal also. That's what is needed.

India has just around 7% credit card penetration. We can't always blame it, capacity has to be created at scale in line with population as well...

There are multiple longes in India as well. For example, Delhi airport has over 10 lounges. There are 4 lounges by Plaza Premium alone.

Are you talking about at a single terminal or combining all the terminals?

I've been to Plaza Premium Lounge at Terminal 3 and Terminal 2, T2 lounge is so small that I, along with several others were told to go out if we've eaten, so that others can eat too. This happened after entering half an hour in the lounge and that too from a traveller, not the authority.

I just don't even count the Plaza Premium Lounge at IGI Airport T2 as a lounge, that's literally way smaller than one can think of.

I meant to say multiple lounges per terminal. I would much rather prefer 1-2 large lounges then 10 small lounges to be honest. When I say capacity, I mean number of people it can cater to. Ours is a populous country where such small lounges are ineffective. Few of the lounges are large, but we need more as people are more

Looks like same lounge having multiple complaints of overcrowding
