PA cover on two wheeler insurance

I was renewing my bike insurance and have confusion regarding the PA COVER. Till last insurance the PA cover charges were Rs 50 and used to be included in my insurance but while I am trying to renew my insurance via policybazaar I see that PA cover is additional now. Is it compulsory to buy PA cover? I dont have any other vehicle registered in my name.

It is mandatory to have a PA cover if you choose to opt out of it in the Motor Insurance. BTW, The 15 lakhs cover is as per the court’s directive.

Get a Standalone cover & then choose to opt out of PA Cover(Owner Driver).

Ya it is mandatory if u have only 1 vehicle on ur name but for more than 2 vehicle u don’t need to have PA cover in second vehicle…. Also PA cover rates increased to 331 with 15Lakh coverage which is beneficial for u…
