PAN 2.0 : Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announces the launch of PAN 2.0
New PAN or TAN cards will feature a QR code for seamless digital integration across government systems
₹1,435 crore allocated to the project for technology transformation, Eco-friendly, efficient, and more secure
Old PAN or TAN card is still valid
The PAN 2.0 is an enhancement to the current system
The new card will be entirely online. Plus, the upgrade will be FREE
Your current PAN card stays valid
You'll automatically get an e-version of the PAN 2.0 to your email
But if you want a physical card of PAN 2.0 (PAN with QR)
You'll have to apply and pay ₹50 fees

we have this even now what is PAN 2.0 any different last year I applied for CC using ePAN PDF
