PAN-Aadhaar Linking Can Be Done Till March 31, 2023 On Payment Of Late Fee : Finance Ministry
The Ministry of Finance has extended the deadline for linking PAN Card with Aadhaar number till March 31, 2023. The deadline was otherwise set to end tomorrow. However, a penalty up to Rupees 1000 will be payable for late linking of PAN-Aadhaar after March 31, 2022. A fee of Rs 500 will be payable for giving Aadhaar details for up to three months from April 1, 2022 and a fee of Rs.1000 after that.

today is last day to link pan with aadhar without late fee.
if anyone still need to link then do it today for free.
Why link PAN with Aadhar forcefully like this when Aadhar itself is not mandatory?
Why isn’t anyone questioning this basic flaw?

i think in past there was pil in sc about this and sc dismissed pil and allowed linking aadhaar with pan.

Yes. I think I remember it vaguely.. it was a twisted answer saying aadhar is mandatory if anyone wants to take benefits from govt schemes.
The ruling is like multiplying n with 0 and claiming it to be n & not 0 – Basic logic / sense defies our authorities including our supereme court (stating it with a smile – so no contempt in anyway).
Now I want all govt benefits because I have linked my Aadhar – give me free everything!!
Linking PAN and Aadhar won’t give any extra Govt benefits then why this govt is simply forcing everyone to link with something which itself is not mandatory.
