It seems like Paytm has entirely stopped wallet load using Credit Card via partner platform like Zomato or Uber.

While trying to load the wallet via Credit Card it is asking to use the app for using Credit Card.

You can also check and share if this is for some accounts who load wallet every month or for all.

It looks like Party is almost over now.

I can tell you some :

- This helps people reach their annual spend limit for either milestone benefit or fee waiver on their credit cards.

- That's basically free money for which you'll have to pay after 30-50 days. Utilize it to pay bill, pay at shops, cab rides etc.

- On some cards, you still get reward points / cashback ... like, on Amazon Pay ICICI CC, one can still get 1% cashback as Amazon Pay balance.

- You can use your credit card's credit limit to pay off credit card bill via Paytm wallet.

There are n number of ways to utilize. The above are the ones I can recall and seem feasible, pro people make max. use out of it.

limit is 4000 so it is not a big deal, amount is very small, mostly dimers use to transfer money to bank ac for free( adding in paytm upto 4000/month via uber , zonato, swiggy is free), for doing this some credit cards are giving 1% or 2% reward points also

no, u do not need to order anything, just link ur paytm wallet in swiggy then again go to payment mode, there u will se paytm wallet showing balance if there is any, click over paytm then u will get add money option in paytm...add 4000 then pay via any credit card (whichever do u have). money added using this method can be seen in paytm wallet, just tranfer this amount to bank ac using paytm app.

Well, for your educational purpose, you must be very careful with the Merchant Name that appears on the transaction/OTP page/SMS. If the merchant name includes the word "Wallet", then you may not get Cashback or Card Reward Points.
