Not sure abt that bro,  but it is confirmed for dant manjan for sure as they have mentioned the fish ingredient in their website also. But the thing to notice here is that they falsely mentioned the product as vegetarian but using bones which is completely unethical also.

Yes, even the quality n smell of dant manjan is not good. Dabur red manzan has better smell n taste.

Hope it does, as no big media is covering it bcz of their sponsership and some of my relatives are totally unaware of this product , they don't even eat onion or garlic while they were using this . Hope they dont just bail out themselves by saying sorry and withdrawing product , some legal action required so that no such thing happen in future.

These type of products are certified by ayush, i don't understand how they mentioned that under green(veg) category.

Yeah it may have ayurvedic benefits , but still it will be animal based product . There may not be any problem if they sold it animal based dant manjan,  but they selling it as vegetarian products . I don't wanna argue with anyone about this  , some  may differ in their view that's okay . But many people will feel cheated. So just wanna aware more people about the ingredient and then they can take decision accordingly .

It's absolutely fine to use powdered mollusk shells. Cuttle fishes are mollusks. Since we don't ingest it, it meets vegitarian criteria. Ex: Shankh / Conch shells are used to blow sound n it's crucial in traditional pujas. Kasturi is from musk deer's navel. Ivory is from elephant tusk. The concept and context of vegetarian is different in India. Nothing fraudulent is being done. 🙂

Yes, context is different today. Patanjali gotta adapt to the new standards. 

I don't think any action can be taken on patanjali as they are clearly mentioning it in ingredients list and not doing chupke chupke.

Only point is if it falls under animal category then is it green or red, as we put green labels on other animal products as well (like dairy).

I don't think patanjali or any other brand with same ingredients are cheating (as accussed by haters).

Let's see how this case proceeds, things will be clear.

Ps - i use very few products of patanjali only like ghee(sometimes), juices (aloe vera, amla), aloevera gell and some 1-2 other products as well. As i believe every brand has some good items and some bad so i dont put labels bad or good brands, rather bad or good product.

You do realise that we have to kill the animals to get their shells?

How is Red and Pink food colour made that  is generously used in sharbats  , food , mithais , cosmetics etc

How is  silver  Foil  that is put on mithais  made .

How are  Toothpaste made 

How are moisturising  creams and Lotions made .

How are so called ''Vegetarian  cakes '' made .

What is Yeast used in making  bread idlis etc

What is civet coffee beans.

What is lipstic made of

And many more . Directly / indirectly,  knowing / not knowing we are having nonveg in some way in Modern world

Leave alone Medicines as no one will  ever argue for it.
