These things only matter to fans and anti-fans on social media. General public only care about entertainment and if they feel something is worth experiencing in a theatre then they're going to watch it anyways (Like it happened with brahmastra). 

And copying / getting inspired from successful films (Hollywood / any wood) is not a new thing for us. If you look back even SSR got heavily criticized for his previous films like Magadheera, Baahubali 1 & 2 (excluding RRR*) and yet these films ended up being blockbusters.

There are some good shots in the pathaan teaser but overall it doesn't look great to me (Few good dialogues would've made the difference?). If someone is saying the teaser is exceptional then they're most probably srk's fans (Still got huge base*) and these people can only fetch good collections for initial weekend at best (If the trailer cut turns out to be very good, then others may join), rest of the success purely depends on how good the film is / critics reviews are (If reviews turn out to be mixed/negative like Zero/JHMS then it will be tough road for the makers to recover the huge budget)

The rise of big-budget commercial films became the roadblock for creativity. People started to copy others work or even their own from the past. Still there are quality films but only content-oriented and most of these get released on OTTs directly

Huge SRKian myself but the teaser is CRAP...Hotchpotch of Don, WAR & Hollywood films...YRF should have used a better director as this is supposed to be SRK's "comeback film" but after seeing the teaser, I don't think the film will be any good...

Fan hona aachhi baat hain lekin blind fan hone mein koyi bahaduri nhi hain... : )

P.S. Also IT Cells are on full swing...As soon as the teaser released, BoyCottPathan started trending on Twitter...

This Boycott thing is a big joke in India...People who do these type of trendings, never watch any films in theaters...They download from torrents..

Like you correctly said, masses (aam aadmi) will decide on their own to watch or not to watch...

Swades, Dil Se, Devdas, Chak De India, My Name is Khan, Veer Zaara etc...He did not do any sort of poses in these films...

In the same way, Michael Jackson was a Megastar doing the same poses in every dance steps too...Huge fan of him too...
