Many people are confused when they see their Credit Report and they sometimes report discrepancies, while they already hold a Pay Later/Credit Loan with these Apps,
This is the List
All Pay Later (Postpaid Services) Marks as a Personal Loan in your CIBIL Score.
1. Flipkart Pay Later – IDFC First Bank – Personal Loan
2. Amazon Pay Later – Capital Float / IDFC FIRST Bank – Personal Loan
3. Paytm Postpaid – Clix Finance India Pvt. Ltd – Personal Loan
4. Ola Postpaid + = SBI – Personal Loan
5. Freecharge Pay Later – Axis Bank – Personal Loan
I have checked with CIBIL and Banks, Both!
Because every month they give you a Limit which can be utilised for a month, that is why they marked it as a loan! Shopping is Considered as a Personal expense that’s why they named it Personal Loan
I hope, it helps.More List can be added ,dimers please update the list.

Will take some time to appear.
Had Amazon Pay Later but never used it.

I’m using mobikwik ZIP from more than 1 year..it’s not showing in any of the 4 credit bureaus..Same with Lazypay. If they have reported to credit bureaus , Should have reflected in maximum of 6 months..
Not sure about this. Maybe for lazypay it depends on whether it was approved without using your cibil or with using your cibil(in Slice card case, some ppl didn’t give any app permission to slice & still got the card based on their cibil report).
Ola Postpaid + = SBI – Personal Loan
SBI ??
I think IDFC first bank .

Either IDFC or Aditya Birla. Both are tied up with Ola postpaid+.

Amazon has tied with Capital Float and IDFC Bank for pay later services. Similarly zest money has partnered with northern arc capital for individual loans. Pay later or postpaid services can impact your credit score deeply.

while applying it will show both partners…
Never used flipkart paylater & amazon paylater. Thinking to getting both closed.
Slice also showa up as personal loan.
I have one doubt – are these (for example if I have only one paylater and pay it regularly) then it helps to build/improve or reduces credit score as I read somewhere I guess that loans are also equally important to help build a good score apart from credit cards.
Anyone knows about this?
@guest_999 @bikidas2060 or anyone?
Buy it later and pay later. 😁😁😁 I don’t use any Pay Later services, honestly.

If you pay regularly then it will help a bit in improving credit score but such a “personal loan” is considered as lowest tier loan so will likely have some negative impact on application in case you apply for a home loan/vehicle loan in future.

Combination of Loans such as Personal Loan, Vehicle Loan, Credit are actually Good for the CIBIL Score, “Even CIBIL Algorithm suggests that 30% Credit Score is dependent on having a balanced mix of credit card and loan account is good for your credit score”

Yep that’s what I was thinking since my report had excess credit cards so I thought a pay later which would report as loan would be better
All the pay later services mentioned by OP are activated, though I seldom use them.
They had zero impact on my credit scores from last 3 years.
Adding ICICI pay later which is reported as credit card ..

It is because in Long Term, Your Credit Age is increasing that means the Relationship of Lender and Borrower is Good!
Credit Age is also the most important Factor in CIBIL Score!

BNPL are categorized as personal loans(this itself is not a good thing because it shows you are in desperate need of money unlike auto/home loan). Also, BNPL have poor fraud insurance compared to regular credit card because in case of any issue you will be bounced back & forth between the BNPL company/the partner bank/the partner website support(someone here went though this recently when fraud happened on flipkart paylater).

Onecard is a proper credit card & the partner bank issuing it is responsible for all the support regarding fraud cases.
