Pay via balance option available in airtel app for selected recharges
Able to use my balance for 149, 219 recharges
Visit airtel app and try to recharge it will show balance available to be used for recharges which normally was not happening through sending messages from phone
It’s available there from long.
As for Hyderabad region since past few months you can do all recharges using the Balance on Thanks App. Infact i used to Topup Balance whenever i used to get deals on Amazon/Freecharge once it was Rs. 1500 balance i used them for 365 days Recharge but effectively i paid may be around Rs. 1250
