today I buy the digital gold of rs 2500.

but when I going to sell the gold of same qty at the same rate…
they are giving me 135 rs less by paying 10rs as convenience fee..

I want to know where my 135rs gone?

I call cc.. They have no. ans for this..
they is saying you will get less amt..
but why they don’t know…
they have no explanation of where my 135rs adjusted in charges

There is nothing mention on paytm site about charges other than..
Convienence fees of rs 10..
Or making charges if apply for coin delivery. .

same thing happened with me, but in my thing my gold was few grams more. But rate was same still they gave me less amount by Rs.200/- + Rs.10/-.

Stay away from paytm digital gold scam, even price rises in future they will not give high price than for what u have purchased it will be always less than what u paid.

It is not a scam, it is just a simple shopkeeper and customer problem….. A shopkeeper won’t take a sold item back for it’s original value, same is the case here…. They sold you gold addition with gst, cst and extra charges. If you sell the gold you don’t get to add the gst and cst so you sell them without extra charges.

I still didn’t understand.. why someone will purchase gold just to loose some money
If we buy gold at 2900 @ 1gm and if current price is 3100 we should be able to sell at 3100
but PAYTM does not allow to sell at 3100 and it offer less than 2900.
It is scam for sure…

I taught of buying gold close to 10k for the purpose of cash back.. Then my mind asked me are there any charges for selling it back or do I get the same price.. Did some browsing and yes charges are there and If I am buying and selling at same time (assuming the gold value has not changed ) then I am deep loss.. Don’t fall for the purpose of cash back.. If your intention is to invest and book profit then should be fine wait for your price and sell. But I taught Paytm should have disclose the actual costs involved in selling somewhere in their website as TnC (infact in FAQ they have clearly mentioned the buy and sell prices will be different)

Its a complete fraud. Stay away from paytm gold. they played it very smartly here. Its for sure the price of gold is no going above ₹3200/grm. And this is what they are using. let’s say you buy gold @the rate 2978/grm. And when it comes to sale it coz you can se the price has gone up. And you hope to make some money but you cannot. Coz they charge 4.7% out of the value you are supposed to get

Paytm gold price is higher than the price of gold in the market. They buy the same in very low price as compare to the market selling price. Easy to invest but not worth. Once u buy after that u have no option but to sell according to their set price. They have very easy way to earn money. It not consumer friendly market. It is just one way market. No place of bargaining it is totally controlled. They are making money for themselves.

I bought a quantity of gold on 27 july 2020 night from pay tm . as soon as i bought gold it shows me minus 5.83 percent of total value of gold.why? i bought gold and i am in a big loss . 3% is mandatory for gst but what about rest 2.83% .no disclosure by pay tm . It might be a scandal

Their price is also less than the prize shown in Google their prize and what Google tell approx 10 rs and on the top of that other taxes they’re not selling gold they’re fooling us at first they used to cut gst on the amount you pay but now they’re adding extra money on top of that. They’re all thieves they just know how to make person fool by showing wrong details.
