Paytm Charges Merchants 1.99% Extra for UPI Credit Card Payments > 2000

there is a 2% charge (only on CC on UPI) when payments are over 2000. So considering 2.36%  on 2700 is 63.72 charges. It is expected that this minimum MDR is baked in the merchants profit, employees dont have to handle cash, etc

Zero mdr uptil 2000 inr transactions. So if you make 2 transactions worth 2000 and 700 there will be zero charges. 80% of UPI transactions are less than 2000 in value.

Accept payment under Rs2000 is free for small merchants through RuPay CC link UPI.

Note - RuPay CC link UPI is 100% free for customers except bank specific charges on few merchant categories  like Fuel spend surcharge etc but you will also get Fuel surcharge wavier refund.

Stop accepting UPI credit card for greater than 2K

My local mother dairy and safal shop, in fact most of shop now don't have cc option while accepting any amount even less than 2k

If I transction Rs2000 same marchant same day 25 times ( Rs50000) then it's counted more Than 2000> or it's counted under Rs2000, then charges Zero or 2.35% ?
