Paytm Wallet - We would like to inform you that with effect from 09 October 2020, a fee of 2% (inclusive of GST) shall be charged for all transactions of adding money into your Paytm wallet via Credit Card.
Dear Customer, please note that w.e.f. 9th Oct 2020; all transactions for Loading money into Paytm wallet via Credit Card will be charged at 2% (inclusive of GST).

2nd update - Additional surcharge of upto 2% on transfer of funds from wallet to any bank account, it means if you load money through credit card and transfer to bank then you need to pay 5% bank transfer charges + upto 2% surcharge = total upto 7% charge for bank transfer (only for Credit card load money).

Are yar abhi abhi to mobikwik ko uninstall kiya tha. But paytm ne to bda jhatka de diya, i use to load amex 4k. Ab fir se mk install karna padega aur dang se smghna padega eske ever changing rules of sc/wallet-use/load/card etc.
Trans – I hate paytm, as it forces me to use mobikwik now.

Oct 2020 – Paytm charges money for loading wallets.
Oct 2021 – Paytm charges money for making payments.
Oct 2025 – Paytm charges money for opening the app.
No need to go so long. Badi jaldi hi paytm ka ram nam sat ho jayega esi 2020 year me if they dont reverse this cc charge decision.

Less chance… As currently too if that particular citi card exceed the limit of 10k u can still add to paytm wallet via citi online without any chrges

Prepaid cards are ban for every wallet thanks to rbi

So if you have 4 credit cards, you can load Rs.9999 × 4 times into Paytm wallet before 9-Oct?

Just check your card statements too for confirming the amount debited on cards is same as what is loaded to the wallet & not more(aka incl 2% charge).

. It was also weird when there was no news regarding this, when googled about paytm charges I could only find articles from JAN where they levied charges above 10K.
yup, if they start charging, Dimers would know it first because they use PayTm to rotate money.

I just found that phone pe added wallet loading with credit card, but they have not mentioned any charges .
Update- I have added 100 in phonepe wallet without any extra charges. But I am not sure wallet balance wil be used for offline store payment.

Is 2% Cashback stopped? I tried in my other KYC verified paytm accounts, no transactions done earlier. But it is not showing 2% cashback line on payment pop-up (where it shows 2% charge for adding via credit card)?

i have setup auto reload of paytm wallet using credit card, if balance goes below 100(it will add 100 automatically).
I am not being charged extra 2% for these transactions.

But when i try to load money using credit card it shows 2% charge.
