Pedometer suggestion pls

I want to gift a pedometer to my nephew (12years), he has seen me and some other family members wearing it and has been constantly in awe of having one for himself. I hope this would inculcate good habits as well.

Please share any other pedometers that you have used.

I am on a budget of anything less than 2-2.5k, as I am not sure how would he handle it as he is very young. So not planning to invest more till he is comfortable using a pedometer and taking care of it, having said that if there is a better model which is good, can streetch it to 3k.
