I used to use this https://www.amazon.in/JABRA-SPEAK-BLUETOOTH-SPE...
The quality of call was quite good and had no issues. But now I use Telekonnectors headset and hear only compliments (no complaints) from folks on other side.

I used to use Boat in ear headset, but in lockdown Its mic started giving issues..
Then its mic gave up.. I used other headset for time being..
Then ordered OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z.
I think Bluetooth headset is good for this WFH, you can mute and just keep headset and listen..
Its battery is really good.. It has this button to switch between devices..
Only con is background noice while speaking. It never cancels a single noice.. I tested this with for normal calls as well as Teams.
Other people can listen every single noice which happens in your home if you dont mute urself.

I tested this for Teams, Zoom, Slack, Normal Phone calls, Whatsapp calls and it worked (Few people said few headsets have problems with Teams or skype, so added this list)

I tested this on normal call by switching from bluetooth and Phone.. and noice was very much audible over bluetooth

Another thing I saw is (I dont know if this is con or disadvantage or bug) this switches to mono mode when you are on call..
If you connect this to Windows PC, you can see two headsets in sound settings (1, Stereo 2, Handsfree)

The last issue you mentioned, it happens with me too. I have tried Samsung Level U and LG HBS A100 and see the same 2 options in sound settings.

Samsung level U
Best comfort

I like the Samsung Level U as they provide multi point connectivity and they don’t go fully inside ear canal so I am aware about surrounding noise too.
Ironically, they are not great for music (personal opinion) as they don’t go inside ear but perfectly good for my calls.

I think it varies from person to person, and based on ear size as well..
I use OnePlus wireless Bullets Z and I never faced discomfort to such levels.. But Yeah Every in ear has this feeling of clogging in ears after few hours..
