I am looking to upgrade my current K20 Pro to a Flagship Phone in the Upcoming Sale.
My requirements are -
1. Flagship with Snap 888/Gen1, 8/128GB Config.
2. Usage - Normal Usage, Zero Gaming, Multimedia Consumption. Super Fast Phone.
3. Camera - No special requirements as I hardly take photos. A decent Camera would do.
4. Charging - Super fast Charging like 120W, Battery - 4500-5000mah.
5. Connectivity - NFC and 5G
6. Pricing - 25-35k. I recently missed Xiaomi 11T Pro and similar nice deals.
Shortlist - Xiaomi 11T Pro, Iqoo 9/9T.

Reply guys, please.
CPU performance wise SD888 is hardly any better than SD870 due to pretty severe thermal throttling.
Don't do it. Wait for 8+ Gen 1 or Gen 2. The 888/8 Gen 1 suffer from bad battery drain and overheating, thanks to Samsung's bad 4nm chip fab. The plus or next-gen SoC will give you free battery life if you just wait a few months.
Iqoo neo 6. It's allrounder phone with much better camera setup.
Iqoo has been delivering classic phones off-late, i think u should prefer them over Xiaomi 11t pro
A device with these many major drawbacks (sustained performance, battery life, camera and thermals) shouldn't be considered at all especially if you intend to stick to stock. I haven't checked if custom ROMs are available but in any case they can only help to a certain extent. And not at all in case of hardware issues if any. Xiaomi's implementation of SD 8 G1 was the worst by far of all OEMs. Maybe if it's on a fire sale...
Waiting for SD 8 G2 should be the better option as it would grace the flagships of almost every major and minor OEM unlike SD 8+ G1 albeit that is more important from the POV of aftermarket development.
@manjuonthego404 Here's why we're all telling you to skip the SD8G1. It's several steps back compared to prior gen SoCs.
Qualcomm has been a laggard when it comes to AV1 adoption (understandable considering they are heavily invested in H.265 ) but it will finally be included in SD 8 G2. Going forward AV1 support will be pretty important if a mobile is used a lot for media consumption.
