Hi All,
I am from Pune and we have 5 days break here.
Can you please suggest some places to visit in north of India where we can go and relax?
I want to go away from summer heat that’s there in Pune right now.

We have already visited Leh-Ladakh last May. So, don’t want to go there.
Just checked flight prices for Pune to Dalhousie via Dharamsala. It’s 18k/person/way. So, it’s way too expensive.
I don’t want to spend more than 40k for 2 of us.
Can you now suggest some places?
You can take a direct flt to Chandigarh. Shimla is within a 3hr. Drive from there .flts to dehradun and pantnagar via Delhi for mussorrie an nainital respectively.
No don’t want to go to Nainital. Visited it with parents like 15-20 years ago and did not like it.
Can check Pune to Chandigarh flight and then go to Shimla from there.
you can’t relax in north as hotness is rising
go to mount abu, thats better place
you can go by train as well
else go to Udaipur by flight & from there go by road
even Udaipur or Jaipur is good place to relax if you don’t plan too much outing

For 2,3 days, you can easily cover Dehradun and Mussoorie. With 4,5 days, u can also cover Chakrata and the likes of dhanaulti.
Ask for more details if you decide to cover this part.

There are lot of places actually like leh ladakh, shimla, manali, mussorie, mcleodganj, auli, dalhouise, darjeeling, kasoli, dharamsala, nanital, etc.
But since your trip is just for 5 days, you should better choose which state u exactly want to go in like J&K, Himachal or Uttarakhand! It will then we easier to choose
