First I was physically assaulted by the trespasser S.S. living in ground floor of my house with his family for many years (with the help of my last tenant’s son P ). Assault happened on 18 jun. And local police station clearly refused to file a FIR. And forced me into singing a GD that reduced the incident to “quarrel”.
After lots of tries my mom was able to file FIR through written complaint 3 days later. Not all cops are corrupted.
That guy SS is a local thug. And Corrupt cops took bribe from him. And now those cops have been harrassing me and my family. And filed false counter FIR that I assulted him ( SS) and his wife.
And more…
I don’t know any powerful politicians or powerful lawyers to get help. I feel helpless.
…I believe this forum will be of little help to you….i hope i am wrong here..
…just socialize in your locality and try to garner support of elders and respectable persons in your locality….these things should be sorted intelligently…hope sanity prevails ….n don’t feel alone goons are having the field day in most of India now…
No you aren’t wrong. But in my experience I got help from more unexpected places.
I have shared my situation with online and old friends and got some help.
Desidime has been a great friends, so I thought maybe I should ask help here too.
Although We are too far from each other so can’t help you physically; but if you’re going to go with twitter/any social media . Then just post a link; Will try best to spread that .

From rise of rightwing fascism around the world to shameless tactics to spread propoganda and misinformation through reputable news media. Environmental crisis isn’t even getting enough public attention… when large portion of Indians are facing a deadliest water crisis. Looks like we are heading in Mad Max like world. 
I feel my legal problems feel so inconsequential compared those threatening our very existence.
God save us all or atleast let us go without much suffering.
One of my friends suggested me this YouTube channel to know about Indian Law ( different IPC , CrPC , other important stuff). in Hindi and English.

I did record most of the incidents.
These types incidents / videos have become very common these days.
But there’s a small chance this can back fire.
So If the harrasment doesn’t stop I would have no choice but to put those videos on tweeter.

Let me tell you something straight- You can NOT put trusted and lawyer and/or police in same sentence. Just because there are like 0.01% honest police or lawyers don’t mean shite! They are utter (unts, both lawyers and police. I am not sure why you are asking for a lawyer when they have accepted the FIR already. I know like a dozen of them (my own case going on in court), and 10 of them are greedy arse unethical morons. I was lucky two find one good lawyer, but he died.
Because they filed FIR and started criminal case against me behalf of the guy assaulted me. They accused me and my mom (50+ old lady under 5 feet tall) of assaulting SS ( atleast 5’8 ) and his wife. After our FIR was registered.
They can file false FIR again me. But when police comes at odd hours at night demanding me to come to Police station, but would not say theirs name or reason when asked… it’s nothing but harassment.
And that continued. Because we were able to file FIR.
Hmm, understood. Police have obviously taken bribe from that SS and started the case against you. But for the FIR you filed against that SS, they are not focusing on that. Almost similar to one of the cases I am having, where a guy tried to cheat me with 1.10 lakh rupees and even when we filed the FIR long back, police didn’t start a case against that moron but when that moron filed an FIR against us, claiming that he already paid the money to us and that we are still claiming for personal gain, police moved that case. Very nice.
Yes, now I understand why you seek a good lawyer. Well what can I say. You really must have some good luck to find a decent enough lawyer really. Might try to visit Mr. Geetanath Ganguly. He is pretty expensive though, but if you can shell out a bit of money he’s one of those oldest guy who ‘probably still isn’t that of an arsehole’. I myself went to him for advice multiple times, but shelling out 3k (2k after bargaining) just for consultation was not affordable for me. But still if you manage somehow to make him send the notice to police station on behalf of you, against that SS, police are start changing their stance. His son is also seemingly helpful, Saurav his name I think.
PS- My grandfather’s father was a judge or some such shite. Famous person or whatever, and I am way too much used with that saying Lol.

My grandfather died long before I was born. But I heard lots if stories about him.
He was betrayed and exploited and abused by people close to him and enemies that he used to say (in Bengali)
