+🔥 I am no techie but from behaviour perspective in my experience light user becomes medium user over a period of time as one gets familiar with the new toy 🧸

Ekdum cut to cut requirement 🆚 specifications mat karo.

So i suggest even tho present need may be very light go for decent specs laptop which should serve the needs of you 1-2 years down the line as well 😊

Some basic queries:

1. Screen size required: 15.6" screen must if want numpad else 14" models have much more variety.

2. Screen type: TN panel is usually found in this range meaning 10-15 degree of max viewing angle beyond which colour on screen fade. IPS screen is recommended nowadays which you most likely already have in your mobile.

Do not buy any laptop without ssd nowadays & 8gb ram is recommended for smooth functioning of win 10/11.

Check the "Acer Extensa Ryzen 5 Quad Core 7520U - (8 GB/512 GB SSD/Windows 11 Home) EX215-23 Notebook" deal posted yesterday.

I have this laptop. Everything is fine except for these two issues:

1. Poor screen - you will feel this is bad if you have used an lPS/LED or OLED screen.  It's not very bad, it's usable. I am using it for coding, emails, YouTube etc.

2. No driver support if using Linux (realtek chipset). no problems if you are using it on windows. 8gb RAM is soldered and cannot be expanded. But it is DDR5 based n hence fast.

The battery life is very good. You will get 6-10 hours (or more) screen time depending on brightness & processing. Normal email, browsing etc is giving excellent battery backup, which is important for me.

Pay ₹1000 more for the version with MS office 2021 included.

Don't buy it if you need an "amazing" display.
