Once, a shopkeeper trapped me into buying the (generic, Chinese import) WeMake WM-G20.
Not worth the 1200 plus i paid at the time, but it surely worked fine.
Simultaneous pairing with two devices and reasonable range across concrete columns and thick walls, if in another part of apartment, office.

With over-use, rough use.. one side started having issues.. so looked up online.
https://amazon.in/dp/B07ZHBJC23 the same was marketed for about 900 rupees.
If you have less budget then those 'battery explodes in outer ear' button things would not last that long.
Plus the local brands offer near zero repairability.

The local delivery boys or even building cleaning literally have the cheapest ones available in local flea markets and for neckbands.. the Amazon branded ones i tried https://amazon.in/dp/B09ZB77DH6, https://amazon.in/dp/B09Y5WKLWZ came in the 399₹, 499₹ range with cash on delivery (lesser with prepaid rewards, cashbacks).

Such neckbands are flimsy, but give enough bang for the buck at less prices.
Once worth checking the local electronics market or Solimo, if one is not averse to supporting China, by purchasing Chinese made stuff.

Those battery next to the ear thing.. the wireless ear phone thingy which requires that outer case to charge..
..even local off-line ones which survive at-least 18-20 months would usually cost more than a thousand.

I am not judging you for using costly phones, but if i wanted good value with those wireless ear phones that look like hearing aids.. then I would up the budget.

Somehow i personally freak out even when cousin uses those while driving her scooterette.. that those would accidentally fall off.
But it has never happened with her, she says.

I find the neckbands more comfortable to carry, when not in use.
Less risk of loosing them as they are right there.

Now even the under 500 rupee ones have the magnet on the rear of the individual earpieces to join them at the hip (to avoid entangling).

Would even pre-owned or refurbished Apple ones not come under 2-3000 rupees?

The sync, audio clarity from Apple to Apple would be better in most cases.. isn't it?

I never understand the idea of spending an exorbitant price on a headphone - unless one can discern the fine frequency differences.

I had a U&I neckband for 399 and it lasted 2 years, next I got a ptron for 199 and it has lasted almost 2 years. Both had really good bass and treble irrespective of their price. Now I'm looking for a new one and will probably get something around 300-400.
