There was some Buddha Katha happening in one village and then some tussle took place between police and villagers. So this could be aftermath of that.

If you really believe in God, then the perpetrators (if that's what you prefer to call them) will get what's due (whatever God has planned for them). And if not, then there is no point in getting offended or having a discourse contemplating over such matters. But people fail to understand this rudimentary concept. 

People having a particular religious belief will not ditch it overnight, just because someone tore their God(s) posters.

They are not even forcing to follow a religion, they just want them to honour a guy on caste basis
