Port request rejected wrongly

UPC (Unique Portability Code) was valid till 2.9.2021 11:59pm,
Port out request from Airtel to Jio placed on 2.9.2021
But got sms today that request rejected due to UPC expiry !

Can anyone suggest any way to get help from TRAI or from anywhere as the port out request rejected wrongly ?

Yeah its better to place the port out request early. But one may not be able to place the request early due to some reasons.
Anyways, how can the port out request placed on last day be rejected ?
According to TRAI rules,
" the porting request submitted by the subscriber to the Recipient Operator, with valid UPC within the validity period of UPC, will not be rejected"
as expected, u should have done it at least a day early
Airtel might be following New zeland time 
I… for some stupid stingy reason.. have been doing port in : port out … on two numbers… since around March end 2021.
Mine are only Idea to Airtel and .. Airtel to Idea.

But I also referred two more people to those retailers.
At most, those automated or human calls and SMS with links to cancel port-out request comes.
Else it is just smooth.
Since port in to and fro procedure happens on the third (or fourth?) day from the date of retailer taking the request.
If pack validity is till say 07th of a month.. I go in on first or second of the month or earlier.
these gangs of retailers I have found, get/give offers like free MNP with 56day unlimited pack. Or at times for some operator, Idea Airtel, they take ₹20 or ₹30 for porting IN.. and 56 days pack is activated complimentary within 12-13 hours
Only once, while taking a new SIM (₹50 for a pair of numbers; with 28day pack) did I face ussue. Either Idea/Vi or the retailer acted like an @sshole and SIM KYC failed with reason “father name mismatch”.
Retailer boy tried to put the blame on Vi. But also said that after scanning QR code of UIDAI card.. data gets auto-populated.
May be he accidentally deleted some letters in that field.
Addition : Its not like port request placed on last day of UPC validity got rejected always
Because :
1. there is no such rule
2. Almost 1 month back, my friend placed port request from Jio to Airtel on last day of UPC validity, that too around 8-9pm and request processed
did u got any sms yesterday about port request after kyc ?? I also port two no airtel to jio on last date of upc expiry infact on one no validity was expired too. Normally port completion date comes within hour after kyc complete by dealer
I paid Rs. 100 for 399 pack with complimentary jio prime. chatri wale 
. I saw the whole process . they have option to select MNP399 pack while porting

Bhai, Mere post par koi kuchh galat baat/info post karata hai toh usko sahi bat sunane ki kshamta bhi rakhani chahiye..
Itna sab detail me explain karne ke baad bhi kisi ko dimagi kamjori ho toh TRAI dvara paraso jaari iss tariff direction ka POINT NO. 5 padhein jisme clearly mentioned hai ki MNP399 ka jo chal raha hai wo JIO/Airtel/Vi FREE NHI de rahe, jo FREE de rahe hain wo retailers/distrubutors etc. de rahe hain.
(Bcz as I already mentioned, retailers/distrubutors etc. ko incentive/OTF/cashback 400 mil jata hai so wo log jyada sales ke liye/slab targets ke liye FREE de dete hain)

Extra : Trai dvara iss direction ke baad free mnp 399 ka khel bhi khatma ho sakta hai, toh jinko 399+99 ke liye 100 ya koi bhi charge dene me retailers/shopkeepers/“chhatri walon” dvara LOOT liya jana lag raha tha, wo aisa hone ke baad 399+99 ke liye 498 de kar khushiyaan manaaye,
(*aur iske baad jab jyada paise dene padenge uski bharpayi ke liye kripya kisi gareeb ko khana khilana na band karein, wo bhi jaari rakhein)

Apne meri post ACHCHHE se padhi hoti toh apko pta chal jata ki mere circle me retailer kaun hai !
Vaise, mein sab kuchh ACHCHHE se hi padhta hoon, aap bhi agar ACHCHHE se padhenge toh sadharan si baaton ko bhi samajhne me kathinayi nhi hogi !

Till the time you shared the Code it was valid
It is likely possible that when code was shared with other Operator (may be next day or so) it was already expired.
Hence the the sms for rejection due to code expiry.
TRAI has changed the system long ago as there was complaints related to operators delaying code generation/matching etc.
New system is :
The Mobile Number Portability Centralized Clearing house (MCH) handles these things now like UPC generation, validating expiry date when someone places request with new operator etc.
As MCH is an automated system, it should have matched the expiry date just after retailer processed port request.
for mumbai location if we port from airtel to JIO through MY JIO App – does it require port code / does JIO give any extra benefits on porting to them via the app is the 99/- prime fee charged on porting
Telecom operators don’t give offers officially on MNP as this is not allowed by TRAI rules.
Telecom operators do give commissions/incentives to distributors/retailers.
And then these guys generally provide MNP offers to customers like free/discounted one/two months pack.
So, you should contact local retailer if want some MNP offer
After how much time one can generate another upc ? If there is any condition??
If you generate an UPC today then it ’ll be valid till 8th Oct 2021 11:59 pm.
You can generate another UPC after 8th Oct 2021 11:59 pm.
If you try to generate UPC code/ send port out sms before 8th Oct 2021 11:59 pm then you ’ll get SMS with same UPC code with same validity.

UPC will be valid for 4 (four) days for all areas except of Jammu & Kashmir, Assam and North East, where it will remain valid for 30 days. [ For Counting validity of UPC, the day on which UPC is generated is excluded.]
dont rcv call from existing operator after request. They will speak gibberish and reject with reason "Customer dont want to port out now, due to ….. "
happened several times with Vodafone and Airtel.
Chatri guy asking me 250rs for porting to Jio from Airtel.
Without any plan or with plan?
Place port out request atleast 1 week before expiry of your plan. Placing port out request on last day will be rejected surely.
From your post it looks you requested port request on last day.
