It’s only for BPL (aka ration card holders) folks; Also only valid upto 10L per month; also, it’s a cashback type, ie. you will get 25rs per litre directly into your registered bank account; Not sure how it will be implemented technically though…

There are lot’s of genuine ration card holders in rural and semi-urban areas who have a bike/scooter for their labour/work purpose who are supposed to benefit from this. Please keep in mind that this is specifically meant for the lower-middle class for whom even saving 250rs per month means a lot. Not vouching for the government scheme, but the motive looks good imo.
