I have credit balance of 6K in Standard Chartered credit card. This is because i returned the item after i paid the bill. I dont use this card much.
Is it possible to transfer this credit balance to either linked SC bank account or to another credit card?

IDFC advertises they convert other credit card bills to their card (I even get their spam messages on this). So seems they allow that.
If you are aware of such wallet which allows you to load money using cc and then use the same wallet balance to pay another cc bill
You can directly ask the card issuing authority to transfer the excess amount to your bank account.

The balance was credited to my savings account.
15 years back almost all cards were giving balance transfer offers with 3 to 6 month interest free. I had rotated a lot at that time, paying off a total of about 3 Lakhs in 12 mths without paying any interest.
But have not seen such offers for a long time now.

Told you 😛
It is interesting to note that only big / international and should I say moralist banks are offering this facility. Such as Stan c.
