Guys, I just got a Pre-Approved offer for Moneyback+ CC with 1500 Amaz Voucher and LTF offer with 1L CL.

I am interested in Millenia CC because of it better rewarding system, which I can apply in April 2022 after the increased 1.29L limit of SBI CC is updated with CIBIL.(Mar 2022 statement).

If I go for Moneyback+ now

1. How soon can I upgrade to Millenia and how much limit is required for the upgrade offer?

2. Do I have to again fulfill the LTF criteria(If LTF offer still running!) after the upgrade to Millenia later?

1. What are the approval chances for Millenia via C2C mode against a 16 months old 1.29L SBI CC and 5 months 2.2L ICICI ?

Please guide.

Did you also get the WhatsApp message which says “UNCONDITIONAL LTF”? I got that message for millennia

No such communication on WhatsApp yet.

The LTF offer is the usual conditional in my case

1. Depends on your usage & relationship value with hdfc. No specific limit requirements(like infinia) as I have seen people with same limit moneyback & millennia card.

2. Again, it depends as some get ltf continuation while some get new conditions to fulfill ltf offer.

3. Good chances for c2c but cards applied via c2c get different ltf conditions to fulfill offer compared to directly applying for hdfc card online without any agent’s assistance.

1. We just can’t wait and trust HDFC for months to give upgrade offer.

How successful is the offline upgrade request via mail/form(Can’t go through branch as the agent is annoyed) on the basis of other card(ICICI 2.2L, 6 months old) statement(s) ?

1. Nothing else you can do.

Offline upgrade request compulsorily depend on salary slips as income proof, existing card statement is only good for application via agent.

Better to wait for millennia, moneyback is useless card and once you get it you won’t able to upgrade any other card for atleast 6 months.

Hi. Do you know what are limit criteria for hdfc C2C applications

Agent is telling 2 lac for Diners priv and 3 lac for Regalia which seems odd to me.

Why odd? 75k is the min limit which all major pvt banks card agent ask for except for hdfc for which agent ask for min 30k limit & this limit is for most basic cards. 2 Lakh limit for diners privilege & 3 lakh limit for regalia sounds reasonable.

I mean isn’t Diners better than Regalia, even if slightly

No, don’t look at card offers/benefits but their official eligibility requirements. Diners Privilege needs more than 70k monthly income or more than 8.4 lakh annual itr while Regalia needs more than 1 lakh monthly income or more than 12 lakh annual itr.

Okay, so what do you suggest if we had an option for both (disregard eligibility criteria and Diners acceptance issue)

Regalia is always better if you plan to aim for an upgrade to infinia while diners privilege is more suited if you aim to upgrade to DCB in future. Though one can also receive upgrade from diners to infinia but chances are less compared to getting upgrade from regalia to infinia.
