Pre-ordered S22+ on Amazon and they delivered S22 instead. Please help

Dear dimers,

My cousin pre-ordered a S22+ on Amazon but they instead delivered S22. When raised a concern, they reply back saying their records show no issue with the delivery.

He created a post on LinkedIn. Would be glad if you can help amplify it and to get the post more attention.

As per the communication received from amazon, they already raised an investigation request and this is a very time consuming process. Its better to wait until they get back to him

1. call customer support (select english) the reason behind choosing english language because Amazon has tieup with third party organization and they have there own team at Banglore and hyd location.
Ask the executive to discuss this matter with DART team if they can do anything in this matter
(Dart is a special team who have all access to Amazon/customer account)
if you’ve less replacement/refund and no related account found then they will raise a ticket with fc and provide with you update.
Or you can drop an email to jeff email id.

Just checked IMEI number on warranty slip. It is matching with IMEI number on box which is of S22 and not S22+. How to proceed now guys?

Much better (unlike the mismatch cases)
Contact Amazon social media team again and this time highlight the IMEI thing and demand an IMEI check with the S22/22+
Alternatively, you can visit samsung service center and get a declaration from them that this IMEI belongs to S22 (not S22+) and share it with Amazon team

CC is least helpful in such cases.
Jeff mail is 1st step solution. They might refund or replace as good will gesture if account history is good. If it doesn’t work, cyber complaint might be only way.

Did the phone come with the amazon barcode sticker on it? Generally they do. SKU / code on the sticker is their internal product identification code which will be helpful in verifying the product delivered.

Sorry to hear this but this is blatant cheating by Amazon if they dont provide replacement or refund. Now a days their customer care executives have become rude and dont even listen to the customers.

Go on tagging Microsoft higher roles irrespective of deptmnts, tag usa also just for better visibility, ask your colleagues, frnds every one, let them go on tagging in the comments, yoh will get replacement, takes time.

@getready @jitender22 @bohemian I am the cousin of @raghupro who is facing all this issue. I have been in talks with Amazon customer support from morning via phone calls, emails and tweets. From noon all their response is stating that their background check says that they delivered correct product but after that they aren’t responding with anything new even after telling them about the IMEI. In twitter they stopped responding, in phone calls they are saying it’s with Social Media team and only they can give the resolution, in emails they are just responding the same thing which my cousin has earlier posted.

I have raised a complaint in consumer portal (INGRAM), is there anything else that I can do to get a positive resolution?

paji do not open the seal of the phone at any cost.make a video about the whole case show received box from all sides and also the warranty slip etc. and post on social media pages.

how many returns in ur account?paji why they asked for ur id proof in this case?

did u pay thru credit card? if yes then can he raise chargeback? @getready

Hello. I preordered the Galaxy S22+ and instead received the S22 on 21st March, I Immediately complained to Amazon with pictures. They said they needed 3 days for finishing some investigation and asked me to contact them on 25th. The IMEI mentioned in my warranty slip is the same as that written on the back of the phone. I mentioned this to the Amazon team too. However, after seeing your experience, I’m starting to get worried. Can you please follow-up on your case? Has it got resolved?

such big headache and nuisance. Now I’m afraid to buy any big valuable item from Amazon.

Hope your issue gets resolved. 

Else give notice via consumer forum/lawyer to Amazon. And as guest99 said get imei device details from service centre in WRITING

paji aj ek delivery vala shehar me pakda geya,he used to order items from amazon fipkart etc. using fake numbers and then take out product and send empty bag or trash items back after marking order cancelled. he took out 80k+ gpu and put in waste plastic back last time.he used same mail id as he use in his phone to pakra geya.is vajah se sahi customer ragde jata ha.

There were many such fraud instances forcing the e-commerce companies to suspect every user. 
& this is still the case now (Excluding mobiles where there’s mandatory IMEI check)
