Pre-ordered S22+ on Amazon and they delivered S22 instead. Please help

Dear dimers,

My cousin pre-ordered a S22+ on Amazon but they instead delivered S22. When raised a concern, they reply back saying their records show no issue with the delivery.

He created a post on LinkedIn. Would be glad if you can help amplify it and to get the post more attention.

I just got a call from Amazon’s CEO team and she told that they will be reopening the investigation and she did listen out to me. Hope it will be resolved. Thanks to all of you

Hello. I preordered the Galaxy S22+ and instead received the S22 on 21st March, I Immediately complained to Amazon with pictures. They said they needed 3 days for finishing some investigation and asked me to contact them on 25th. The IMEI mentioned in my warranty slip is the same as that written on the back of the phone. I mentioned this to the Amazon team too. However, after seeing your experience, I’m starting to get worried. Can you please follow-up on your case? Has it got resolved?

such big headache and nuisance. Now I’m afraid to buy any big valuable item from Amazon.

Hope your issue gets resolved. 

Else give notice via consumer forum/lawyer to Amazon. And as guest99 said get imei device details from service centre in WRITING

It’s been 5 days and I am fighting on this. Starting today they asked for another 5 days for the reinvestigation to complete. Not sure how many orders got messed up in this. I am not sure if anyone who ordered an S22+ got an S22+ at all. I couldn’t find any stock in Samsung website for S22+ on the day I was pre-ordering which is why I chose Amazon not sure if Amazon is really getting the stock for S22+.

Please raise your concern with Amazon customer care and do keep in constant touch with them. If possible record the calls you have with them so later if in case they don’t resolve these will be useful

She asked me to send the Warranty Slip and IMEI verification snapshot over the same email and she promised that she will follow up with the relevant team. Didn’t get any email response post that.

Worst part of the call is knowing how they confirmed in their investigation earlier that the correct product was delivered. They spoke to delivery executive and as I told him “I got the correct mobile” after opening the carton they assumed that I am lying. Frankly speaking in  the excited state I didn’t notice it was S22 till I booted up the device by then the delivery executive flew away as he was in rush. The worst part is delivery executive denied to give the package without OTP though I insisted him that I will provide OTP only once I open the box. This is the reason why I love Flipkart’s open box delivery for high valued items

paji open box delivery is not there in amazon.for flipkart only for few pincodes and products though it depends upon delivery person.from which mail id they reply to you.

Hello dears, I just called Amazon team today, because they had asked me to contact them, to know the investigation report. They agreed to pick-up the wrong item (S22) tomorrow and issue a refund. I’m a bit disappointed that I didn’t have the option to receive a replacement. But anyways, not gonna buy any high-value products from Amazon again. Going to buy from Samsung Shop now. I gave pictures of the back of the phone the to Amazon (it had the IMEI on it) maybe that’s why they were able to help me out. Thanks for supporting me people.

paji thodi aur patience rakho.pakka wrong bar code issue ha.1 youtuber ne bhi video dala tha where he ordered blue iphone but blue barcode sticker was on red iphone box so even in replacement he got red iphone.

paji aj ek delivery vala shehar me pakda geya,he used to order items from amazon fipkart etc. using fake numbers and then take out product and send empty bag or trash items back after marking order cancelled. he took out 80k+ gpu and put in waste plastic back last time.he used same mail id as he use in his phone to pakra geya.is vajah se sahi customer ragde jata ha.

There were many such fraud instances forcing the e-commerce companies to suspect every user. 
& this is still the case now (Excluding mobiles where there’s mandatory IMEI check)
