Problem with AMAZON UPI on Redmi Note 3..

In one of my device, Amazon app shows
“Operating System Not Supported.
BHIM UPI is currently not supported for this operating system.”
.
I have Redmi Note 3,
O.S.: MIUI 7.3.6.0
(Android : 5.1.1)
.
Is anyone else using Amazon UPI on this device (or any MIUI OS)..
.
Does it mean MIUI 7.3 (Android 5.1) isn’t supported or any MIUI OS isn’t supported for now..??

RN3 last update is MIUI 10.2 with Android 6.0.1
all UPI working without issue.

5.1 is not supported. Update your OS. RN3 has MIUI 9 easily.
