Buy DC fans, also known as BLDC as they are DC current fans and save you 50% in electricity bills so if you have them on a long time they really save you the extra cost in a couple of years. Also in a room with an AC, they generate far less heat than regular fans and there also saving you electricity costs as the AC do not have to also cool the heat generated by normal fans. The air circulation is actually higher than normal fans in most cases and I use 2 of them, a larger one and a regular size one and I can never put the larger on on high speeds because of the air flow.. The smaller one only puts air under it so that's not as much of a problem..
