Query on ICICI Sapphiro credit card upgrade

hi All,
Today I received call from some landline number , saying that ICICI is upgrading my coral card to Sapphiro Credit card without any joining fees + Annual fees (LTF till validity of card).

I was uncertain about authenticity of this info, and told him to callback again tomorrow .

Seeking opinion from all , if anyone has recently upgraded his/her ICICI credit card .

On ICICI app showing 6500+tax as joining fees, but this guy is saying zero joining fee .

Yes icici usually provide upgrade like this if existing limit on your card cross base limit of these so called premium cards. They would just need address confirmation. The only way to confirm whether the card is LTF or not is via customer care after card delivery. Dont activate the card until they confirm its LTF.
