Query on:SBI credit Card against FD

Close the card & break your fd whenever you want to.

Not sure but I read somewhere in the past that if sbi unnati card is maintained without any late payment(aka all dues paid in full before due date) for the first year then from second year onward one can break the FD without surrendering the card.

Not possible to break the FD if you want to keep the card. They put a lien on the FD until the card is active so you cannot break it.
If you want to break then first close the card.

One Ques. If I maintain good track record for 6 months then close the credit card and FD, Will I get new credit card on CIBIL score basis?

I assume you have to take credit card on card 2 card basis and then close the credit card.

How many years should we have to put FD to get SBI card..
