I was thinking of getting a PNB RuPay Select credit card which is technically lifetime free if used once in a quarter.

I'm thinking of getting one as it shall be a LTF card and will help in highly occasional bank offers. What's your suggestion on this dimers? Also, is there any other more beneficial credit card from PNB apart from RuPay Select credit card?

In this same context, I'm yet to take a CC from Federal Bank and Canara Bank as even they offer occasional instant discounts time to time.

P.S. I have a savings bank account with PNB.

Select rupay cards are good in teams of benefits, some are free , some are chargeable, pnb rupay card process is simple, go to their website, and apply, no home verification was done in my case and it got approved within 5 days without pnb account...

I have PNB select cc, I followed the path Platinum->Select, I choose Platinum at first as there was 500 joining fee on Select.

Till last year there were many offers like on Cleartrip, Flipkart but now I rarely see offer on PNB cc.

Holding since almost 2 years, application process was typical government bank type that time, I don't know if they improved it.

I had to do follow up after submitting application as application status was not moving, so I called their customer care, they provided an email address to send last 2 years ITR, 3 months salary slip, last 2 form 16, after sending documents to email address they processed within week.

For upgrade to Select also they asked again all documents on that email address, I paid noting for upgrade.

I was also PNB saving account holder but I don't think that make any difference for application processing.

I read the same elsewhere, that person had taken RuPay Platinum CC but when the offers drastically reduced, upgraded it to RuPay Select and wasn't charged any joining fee ... so, this route looks good in order to avoid joining fee of Rs. 500 on RuPay Select CC.

I'll apply for RuPay Platinum CC because of no joining fee.

I thought I would apply right now at hometown residence address if I would've received the card in time but seeing the tight timeline and no trust over PNB's process, it's better I apply when I reach Pune in a few weeks.
