query regarding bank of baroda zero balance account

Recently there is a Jana seva Kendra of bank of baroda is opened in our area.

It's not a full fledged branch just a banking point.

I am in need of a zero balance account so i walked there and on enquiry they told me that they can open zero balance account in submitting documents (aadhar/pan/photo) in 5 mins with rupay classic card under pmjdy scheme.

I disclose them that i am already having saving account in canara bank.

I want to know whether it will be beneficial on opening the account with them .
Is it seems legit .i am concerned about my kyc privacy.

And can pmjdy account be open for existing saving account holders in any bank?
How is Bob banking experience?

There is an option to open zero balance account from bob world, but will have debit card charges. i think this account will have lesser restriction.

PMJDY can be opened if you already have an account, but accounts have lots if restrictions. Also why BOB if you want to open PMJDY, you can open BSBD account in any bank its zero balance with free debit card.

You can also look for Kotak 811, neo banks (Fi, niyo global ) they offer absolutely zero balance accoutn with much lesser restriction. AU digital account is also good, it issues rupay platinum card with an annual cost of 177
