Try after 1 day. For me also verification pending was showing after 1 day later also. But I try SBI card payment and it was instantly credited

I have registered my credit card in HDFC bill pay,but shown as verification pending for last 1 hour.How long it takes to get verified,so that I can pay the bills.
I can't able to make any payment for my newly registered card.

It takes at least 2 working days but you can pay bills even before that though it is recommended to make large bill payments after verification.

No,it won't allow me to pay,once I entered card details,it's saying can't be processed before going to OTP page

Wait for at least 24 hours, till shows as active (can take days), do not make large payments... single payments of under 5k a day till active are safe and goes through nicely... else expect failures.
