Query : Upgrade to HDFC EasyEMI Millennia Card

Yesterday i got mail from HDFC Bank credit card, “We have upgraded your Credit Card to EasyEMI Millennia Card”
My Query:
1) Shall I confirm it?
2) There is an additional benefit point mentioned i.e. " All transactions of ₹10,000 and above will be auto converted to EasyEMI for 9 months (Processing Fee of ₹99 + GST and ROI of 1.67% per month will be levied).
Can I stop auto convert emi?
Means I don’t want 2nd query benefit.

Please share your opinion.

You can’t cancel by yourself . All purchases above 10k will be auto converted to emi. You have to call customer care after transaction to cancel the emi.

(btw after how many months did you receive upgrade offer)

It’s worst credit card bro! I have 1 in my family who was unaware of the 10k auto conversion to EMI part! I did 1 transaction using his card during Amazon prime day sale! Still running behind HDFC cc to foreclose the EMI! I have sent them multiple emails and they called a couple of times to again reach out to us after 15 days.

Anyone has any solution how to close the EMI without any more delay?

It’s my 2nd upgradation

1st was increase in credit limit
And 2nd this one

I think they upgrade every year

Unfortunately i have this card 🤣. It’s been 6 months. Now waiting for upgrade offer to any card other than than this.

For transactions worth more than 10k, i make sure to use my other credit cards.

Only hdfc customer care can cancel this emi. Just keep pushing.

If you take this card the first thing I would suggest is to set the sub limit of per transaction to 9900 so even by mistake you won’t be able to do a transaction of 10000+
Apart from that the card is good.

sunglasses Nice tip if somebody uses only very low amount for online transactions…

otherwise skip this stupid card… autoconvert to EMI..Need to report to RBI for these lootings…

Seriously ridiculous customer support from hdfc bank , they entertain their prestigous customers only. My mother having classic saving account got a personal banker assigned who is not ready to entertain my EMI issue.
Don’t know whats wrong with hdfc even after all offices are functional and the personal phone bankers are available , whenever we call on dedicated customer care number it always start repeating the same trash corona outbreak recording.
Fed up of this card.
I applied through payzapp and till now haven’t received the 1500rs gift card ,no proper reward point tracking , God knows even if the cashback come in 90 days or not.
Amazon pay icici and amex is far more better than hdfc.

Payzapp reward tracking for their irregular offers(aka anything not always running like billpay or recharge promo codes) is very poor & unless you have saved all the screenshots of offer notification/offer link details/transaction page then it is all a matter of luck whether you will get the reward or not.

Exactly payzapp systems seem to have a 8kb memory storage which can only store the offers going on in current month !
If we ask them about offers from past months they ask us to provide screenshot of the offer
