Question regarding Flipkart Axis Credit Card

Need to order a laptop worth ₹70k but the available limit of my Flipkart axis cc is just ₹15000. Can loading money , i.e. around ₹45k or more extra over the already available ₹15k limit increase the limit of cc to go through order completion without transaction getting declined due to low limit.

Or are there any other tricks that can help me out with this problem?

Update: Arranged SBI cashback card from my friend which offers equal 5% cashback on online spends. The cashback confirmation is received post 2-3 days of transaction date. Thanks for helping out.😄

May be no there is overlimit charge of you transact over 15k but ask customer care for temporary limit enhancement

Anything is risky with axis... better call them and explain the situation.

you will not get any cashback. better to buy through someone else having valid card

But I think technically it's not over limit since I am loading extra money in my cc from my bank account and not loaning anything from bank. Thank you for the help though.

overlimit charge means if your CC is swiped for amount greater than your credit limit.. in your case you may have credited your CC with even 1L but your limit is 15k only so when you swipe for 15,001 that extra 1Re is the overlimit amount for which you need to pay Rs.500 (which is minimum) as per FK Axis card charges (below link)

Also i doubt your transaction will not even execute i.e. decline as you are trying to order 70k worth whereas your CC limit is only 15k. sometime back they had this overlimit consent where you can still order above your credit limit say 25k in your case but still have to pay overlimit charges which is 2.5% or Rs.500 min

best is to try other means as first i think transaction will fail as its 4-5 times your credit limit and overlimit charges = 70-15= 55k*2.5% will be 1,375

Over limit penalty 2.5% of the over limit amount (Min Rs. 500)

Even with Flipkart axis, you will get 5% cashback. So, try to arrange Flipkart GV which is easily available at trading section in 5% or try to buy from other sources.

Are you sure its possible to increase limit by adding money ? I have a low limit FK axis card as well, I tried adding more for a similar reason using Mobikwik and Paytm but the transaction kept failing . Though i havent tried on cc bill payment method on Axis bank website. Even if they dont allow you to make a custom payment exceeding your limit, you will be able to repeat your last billed amount (assuming you haven't already paid it yet) any number of times within 2-3 working days time frame. As payment on axis website takes that much time to reflect on card

Axis does not allow a txn more than card limit on any of its card, end of story. Overlimit txn is something decided by axis only & there is no guarantee regarding the amt either(maybe axis will decide you are eligible for just 1k overlimit at the time of txn).

Everyone Forget overlimit

You cannot even use your Axis Cc again after paying Cc bill.

Let's say if you have a limit of 50k .

And on 1st day if you have spent 50k. So no matter even if you settle 50k bill payment immediately you will have to wait 30 days/upto next billing circle to utilise the same limit again.

I have faced/ observed this issue so many times. On the other hand in SBI etc you can top up the limit again by paying bill and use multiple times in same month I.e. 50k+50k... Day 1 .. day 2.. . I have experienced this also everytime
